Functions:
- Develop detailed generic/standard specifications of medical equipment, drugs/medicines, hospital supplies and general goods listed in the approved lists of Department, which will be used for all procurements within the province.
- Review existing specifications of generic/standard specifications of medical equipment, drugs/medicines, hospital supplies and general goods.
- To ensure rational and timely procurement of medical equipment, drugs/medicines, hospital supplies and general goods.
- To identify and understand the issues and risks in the field with regard to existing specifications that effect on the implementation of transparent procurement.
- To maintain and develop warehouses for centralized procurement and distribution.
