Operations Division

Functions:

  • To issue SOP’s for Drug Inspectors / field formation regarding inspection, sampling of drugs and investigation methodology.
  • Inspections of Pharmaceutical manufacturers, point of sale and distribution setups.
  • Inspections of Pharmaceutical firm situated outside the province of Punjab for the purpose of pre-qualification.
  • Ensure geo-tagging of all the Drugs related businesses.
  • To address all complaints relating to Drugs.
  • To maintain and record all data relating to inspections and action taken.
  • Oversight of the day-to-day activities of all personnel related to drug control in the field.
  • Oversee roles pertaining to operations and functions of its personnel.
  • Coordination and monitoring of the working of field personnel.
  • Issuance of New Drug Sale Licenses/ renewal of licenses.
  • Organize training for Drug Inspectors.
  • Evaluate the performance of Drug Inspectors.
  • Formulate and implement the policies and procedures.
  • Monitor adherence to rules and regulations.
